My journey into real estate started long before I got licensed. Growing up in a 6th floor apartment, I remember looking out the window and thinking, one day I’ll own a home like that.
I became the first in my family to graduate college, earning my degree from Fordham University, and went on to build a career on Wall Street at Standard & Poor’s. There, I worked with top firms like Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs, developing strong negotiation skills and high-level client relationships.
At the same time, my husband Tom and I built a business together from scratch. What started as handmaking my wedding headpiece turned into Thomas Knoell Designs, a couture bridal accessory company sold in boutiques around the world.
After starting our family, we made the decision to leave NYC and build a different kind of life on Long Island. Like many of our clients, our path to homeownership wasn’t simple. That experience is what ultimately led me to real estate.
In 2016, I became a licensed real estate agent and partnered with my husband. Today, Team Knoell also includes our son Kyle, creating a true family-run team.
